The event will take place at [Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites, 2455 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor Michigan 48108] from [11 AM to 5 PM].

During this enchanting evening, participants will have the opportunity to breathe life into their Oshun Fabric Being, a one-of-a-kind fabric doll made by Dr. Sturges herself. With no sewing skills required, the dolls will be 22-24 inches long and come with a certificate of authenticity. The workshop includes group meditation, story sharing sessions, and a workbook that teaches participants how to use their Oshun Goddess dolls for affirmation cards and other gift ideas. The workbook also covers the cultural history of doll-making and its impact on femininity, the mythological secrets of Goddess Oshun, and the best techniques for writing fantasy fiction.

Participants will also have an opportunity to take pictures with life-size fabric sculptures present from the Jungle Beauty Goddesses book series.

“We’re excited to offer this event to anyone looking to embrace their inner child and unleash their imagination,” said Dr. Sturges. “Our workshop creates a space for storytelling, self-reflection and self-expression, and empowering participants to manifest their dreams with their Oshun Goddess dolls. We believe that the mystical art of cloth doll-making is a powerful channel for storytelling and can help us to connect more deeply with our true selves.”
